About this job
Looking for 1 person to work in the warehouse picking orders. They will have a list of the items they need to grab off the shelves and pull a cart around to collect the items for shipment. Every item will have a barcode that needs to be scanned with a scan gun and it tells the person if the item is the correct ID number. They will then collect the quantity they need and send to shipping dept. All the items in the warehouse are in alphabetical order and it is very easy to access each shelf.
1st shift: 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday and right now Sats are volunteer basis from 7Am - 12PM. They will become mandatory in Oct
Would need to come in earlier and stay later if need be (might need to come in at 7am and leave at 5:30pm)
They will need to work Black Friday and that Saturday and the weekend before Christmas
They will get a 30 min unpaid lunch (can be at 12pm or 12:30pm depending on work orders) and will have two 15 min breaks (paid) at 10am and 2pm
MUST HAVES:
ability to read and write english
attention to detail
ability to lift up to 30 lbs
basic computer skills (how to turn on a computer, microsoft excel)
NICE TO HAVES:
warehouse exp
Fedex or UPS exp
Disqualifiers: any attendance issues at previous jobs and not being able to work ot
