Assembler:
Job Duties -
* Build and troubleshoot complex Electro-Mechanical assemblies using procedures, prints, written instructions or verbal communication. Understand and operate standard electronic test equipment i.e. (dmm, oscilloscopes, d/c power supplies). Operate computer assisted testing equipment.
* Read and interpret blue prints, engineering change notice and applicable document changes. Interpret schematics, assembly aids, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and repair instructions.
* Work with engineering and manufacturing engineering on root cause of failures and resolution as well as process improvements.
* Build and test prototypes with verbal communication, evaluates results, and recommend modifications if necessary.
* Cross train in all of the thermal imager assembly process
* Soldering Specialist needed to perform soldering, SMT touch-up and basic repair of PCB's (printed circuit boards) to class 3 standards.
Test Technician:
Job Duties -
- Operate computer-assisted testing equipment.
- Read and interpret instructions and test procedures.
- Perform "hands-on" testing of complex electrical systems, occasionally at non-standard temperatures (-40C to 53C).
- Run environmental chambers and vibration tables.
- Accurately record results of testing on datasheets while staying organized
- Report daily status to supervisor and fellow team members
- Follow dynamic instructions of your supervisor and/or supervising test engineers
- Work with engineering and management to continually improve our processes
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Critically review videos for any signs of issues of anomalies.
- basic computer knowledge
- able to use hand tools (screw driver, torque driver)
- able to read basic instructions
- previous electronic assemble experience
- preferred testing experience
