About this job
Our client, a biotechnology company, is seeking multiple Lab Technologists to join their team. Candidates will be working within a Biomaterial lab mainly handling cell tissues. They will be processing the material so it can be manufactured into various products.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience handling biological products - cells or tissues
- Experience testing biological material (using flow cytometry, western blot, cell culturing, cell counting)
- Aseptic technique experience
Job Description:
* Technical processing of multiple biological products with direct responsibility for the development, production, storage and release of these products
* Frequent experimentation with human cells, organs and tissues
* Experience with the operation of laboratory processing equipment (i.e. Biological Safety Cabinets, clean rooms, centrifuges, cryogenic storage freezers, etc ). Ability to perform daily maintenance of instruments and equipment.
* Completion and review of laboratory notebooks, product batch records and the entry of processing data into production database.
* Participate in non-conformance investigations and CAPA determination with the focus on determining root cause
* Assemble, document and transfer processing kits to all laboratories. Maintain production kit supply levels.
