Scientist II - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description: In this role, the Scientist II delivers sustained contributions that result in innovative product and process technologies. The Scientist II will contribute to the scientific expertise and work ethic of the laboratory through a broad range of technical knowledge. A Scientist II has mastered many common techniques with the laboratory and are able to contribute their own observations and input to difficult projects. Work Environment: This position is in one of USP's reference standard labs. Here they are testing the drugs and creating standards for their publications.

There are a few different groups, this team consists of 4-5 people. Qualifications: Skills Required
Working knowledge of common analytical methods and procedures. Good understanding of chromatographic analyses (especially HPLC), as well as other general analytical chemistry principles. Personal responsibility to ensure work is delivered on time and is the highest possible quality. Skill to anticipate, troubleshoot, and solve technical problems. Experience in HPLC analysis.
