Our client in Reston is looking for a Staffing Assistant/Sourcer to support their temporary project. This assignment will be for 7 months.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Performs duties required to source and deliver qualified, diverse candidates in the recruitment of prospective employees.
- Must be able to develop and establish effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates including ability to influence the staffing results.
- Knowledgeable of compensation philosophy and practice including salary negotiation and presentation of offers.
- Must know employment law and sourcing tools for active and passive candidates.
- Must understand and implement Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action, including outreach to the local community.
- Will facilitate transfers and redeployment or outplacement.
- Must have business acumen and knowledge of the business.
- Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other pertinent data for classification, selection and referral.
- Responsible for providing applicant with information on the company.
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing and acting on metrics.
- Strongly prefer experience with applicant tracking and/or recruiting management systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
