The Bremerton Shipyards are once again ramping up for massive projects aboard various Naval vessels and Aerotek is seeking 30+ Welders and 10+ shipfitters. Qualified candidates will have dual-shield and flux-core experience working with structural Steel. If the experience is right, you do not need previous shipyard experience to be considered.
Welding Experience:
- Dual-shield and Flux-core
- Structural Steel
Requirements:
- Drug and Background screening
- Willingness to be on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable aboard large ships
- Original/Notarized Birth Certificate OR Valid Passport
- Successfully Pass extensive weld test
- Open to Overtime
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 maritime, Firewatch certification and Respirator Fit card.
Additional Info:
- $22-$25/hour - depending on weld test results
- Shift: first (days)
- 60 plus hours per week
