Dispatch Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• The position involves collection of information; distribution of information to crews, vendors and contractors; supervision of work; and ensuring that work is completed to the satisfaction of clients, tenants and government officials.
• The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for receiving, recording, distributing, supervising, and closing work orders from maintenance work performed for rented properties, from post-acquisition work and work on properties waiting to be rented ("turns").

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Considerable experience in administrative office work, supplemented with some dispatching experience preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• One year of residential services in the property management, real estate or construction industry.
• Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures, equipment, and standard administrative techniques.
• Minimal knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques and practices.
• Minimal knowledge of construction maintenance needs and service requirements.
• Minimal knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the building trades.
