Responsibilities:

-Agents will handle outbound telephone calls to counsel and persuade borrowers to maintain their student loan account(s) in good standing.

-Verify and obtain new demographic information during contacts with borrowers and others.

-Secure information and documentation necessary to qualify borrowers for payment plans, deferments and forbearance's.

-Assist in the investigation of difficult and problem accounts.

-Document communication and borrower commitments by using appropriate codes that apply to content of the call

-Will be making 75+ calls per day

Must:
-2+ years of customer service experience
-40 wpm

Plus:
-Call center experience
-Experience using various online account systems and research tools
-Collections or related account rehabilitation experience
-Problem solving and analytical thinking skills to quickly identify the solutions that are in the best interest of the customer
-Ability to hit and achieve goals
