Medical Assistant

This family practice is seeking a technically focused Medical Assistant to provide excellent patient care. Working within a clearly defined scope this medical assistant will work alongside an experienced family practitioner.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

• Rooming patients.
• Completing prescription refills.
• Taking vitals.
• Updating patient information.
• Managing the physician schedule.
• Prior authorizations for prescriptions.
• Assisting with minor office duties such as documentation and computer work.
• Other clinical and administrative duties.
