About this job

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of software and troubleshooting code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications.
  • Work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems. The engineer develops FPGA/CPLD designs using appropriate toolsets, including interface simulations and sensor functionality.
  • Work with domain experts and military documentation to define requirements.
  • Design, simulate, and integrate system components using C++ and MATLAB. Document design and development.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering with 5 years of professional experience.
  • Experience with embedded C/C++ programming.
  • Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) theory.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Design.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
