Manages day-to-day cage/vault operation of casino by ensuring that cage, main bank, vault and kiosks are operated in accordance with company policy. Monitors the performance of Cage employees. Supervision of assigned shift and reports all operational and employee issues and concerns to the Location Manager. Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of shift end summarization of shift activities on the cage summary count sheets, including the reconciliation of shift paperwork to shift end inventory counts. Responsible for accurate entry of all cage and vault transactions into the computerized Casino Facts system by the end of their shift. Responsible for ensuring entry of all EGD payouts into the computerized EGD accounting system. Ensures the Kiosks are dropped and balanced at least one time each day, and that this effort is recorded on Kiosk-generated reports, EZ-Pay generated reports and balanced to cage records. Verifies jackpots payouts as an “independent department manager” if requested by operations team to assist with this function. Will act as a main banker, vault banker or cashier as needed. Oversees assigned shift’s paperwork and conducts investigation of variances that may occur on assigned shift and reports these to Manager Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of shift end inventory counts for the casino cage, main bank and Kiosks (at least once daily for kiosks). Responsible to ensure the Kiosks are operational, and to ensure service arrangements are made when necessary. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with company policy. Ensure guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution. Recruits, trains and develops Cage employees. Oversees new employee orientation, training, ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, goal setting and by conducting periodic performance reviews. Extend credit to players. Review operational expenses, budget estimates, betting accounts, and collection reports for accuracy. Match recorded winnings to payout amounts. Remains vigilant when watching for signs of wrongdoing or potential trouble on the part of customers. Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
