Assembler - Briggs & Stratton - Munnsville, NY

Briggs & Stratton is looking for assemblers to join their growing team! As an assembler you will be responsible for production and assembly of finished goods.
 
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assemble parts with bolts, clips or screws according to specifications, which may involve reading blueprints
• Maintain excellent hand-eye coordination
• Perform assembly tasks utilizing common hand / air tools
• Ensuring all established safety procedures are followed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred, but NOT required
• Must be able to do basic math
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Self-starter, motivated, and detail oriented with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Applicants must follow all of CPS’s employment guidelines and commit to maintaining an excellent attendance record. Applicants must be willing to comply with a 10-panel urine pre-employment drug screen.
 
HOURS: 1st shift hours available
 
PAY RATE: $11.00/hr. + DOE
