Prep Cook/Dishwasher

Cafe Kindred is an independent restaurant with high standards in keeping the restaurant clean. We are looking to hire 1 or 2 dishwashers for full or part-time. Our kitchen is not equipped with dishwashing machines, but everything is instead washed by hand in 3-compartment sinks.

But the job goes beyond just washing dishes. There is also

• the general cleanliness of the kitchen; floors, trash, refrigeration, shelving, bathrooms, are all areas that are also the responsibility of the dishwasher.
• We are also looking for someone that can help the cooks with small food prep projects throughout the shifts.

This is a job for someone that has experience in professional kitchens, and knows what it's like to keep them clean. We do keep high standards, and we like to get into all the nooks and crannies of the kitchen, so being a strong worker is important. We're looking for people that are:

• meticulous when it comes to cleaning, take the initiative, are punctual, reliable, and hard-working.
