The Senior Product Manager is a product owner responsible for shaping the strategic product roadmap, leading cross-functional work to coordinate development of industry-leading commerce product offerings, and managing the associated book of work. Specifically, this role is part of the Information Management team that owns the insights, reporting, and dispute resolution products within merchant services globally.

This highly collaborative position requires an individual who has demonstrable product management and leadership skills and a proven history of successful product delivery. The ideal candidate understands that product management is cross-functional and involves strategic thinking, market research, client interaction, architecture, technology design, financial analysis, project management, resource planning and general awareness of goals versus constraints.

Responsibilities:

* Drive product level competitive intelligence

* Create value propositions and define client benefit creation

* Define product strategy and create roadmap, inclusive of a roadmap for particular verticals as applicable

* Evaluate pricing options and recommend pricing strategy

* Create business cases and project charters for new products and enhancements

* Drive approval and technology commitment for roadmaps and insertion on the book of work

* Identify business requirements and change controls

* Manage business decisions and clear roadblocks for successful project completion

* Represent projects during senior leadership meetings

* Define pilot approach, communication, and other product readiness activities prior to launch

* Analyze client requests and issues, make recommendations with constraints in mind, and drive to resolution

* Ensure maintenance of an ongoing product controls environment

* Derive and maintain Product KPIs

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred

* 7+ years of product or related experience

* Must have prior experience working in financial services industry

* Prior experience working at a payments, or payment technology company is a plus

* In-depth understanding of business intelligence or client reporting

* Demonstrated experience in roles requiring critical thinking and thought leadership

* Proven ability to develop and drive a successful product roadmap

* Experience developing product strategy and establishing product positioning

* Must have strong organizational skills to plan, organize and schedule resources

* Must have prior experience managing Projects or Programs; PMI or Prince2 certification a plus

* Proven success interfacing with clients

* Experience with technical concepts and working with technical staff as needed

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint with exceptional deck building skillset

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel to analyze data and build financial scenario analysis
