Responsibilities:
- Menu and Food Preparation - Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications. Rotate among grill, sauté, fry, and cold food stations. Prepare assigned work station(s) at the beginning of each rotation and ensure there are enough supplies to meet anticipated demand. Clean up and reset work station as required. Work quickly and efficiently to turn out dishes. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Quality and Health/Safety Regulations - Follow all health and safety regulations. Ensure food quality for dining room and catering events. Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen, prep area, and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work variable hours that may include daytime, evenings, weekends (no Sundays), and holidays.
- Restaurant experience in grill, sauté, fry, and cold food stations preferred.
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills as well as good personal hygiene.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure at a consistent and steady pace for extended time periods, and ability to closely follow established procedures.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, stand for long periods of time, and move from area to area in the kitchen.
- Ability to handle exposure to wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noises.
