Public Storage is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a fast-paced Operations and Legal team. This individual will provide strategic support, be a fantastic multitasker, support the company with a “can do” attitude and be a key extension of our senior leadership team.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Run administrative duties for the Operations and Legal Departments, including but not limited to: screening calls, scheduling, travel, expenses, and event planning.
  • Proactively manage special projects—including research, data compilation, and monthly reporting— delegated by senior management.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist with arranging and coordinating meetings and events including Operation Reviews, performance and development discussions with direct reports, and monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary
  • Help identify and implement ways to improve efficiencies within the operations and legal departments
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels 

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years prior experience as an executive assistant to EVP and/or C-Suite.
  • Motivated, diligent learner that is able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.
  • Proven time and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact with C-Suite and Senior Executives, Board Members and staff.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
  • Previous work as a paralegal a plus.
