To provide support for programming department through a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assisting producers with implementation of on-air shows
- Work with salespeople in retrieving requested audio content for clients
- Entering network and local commercials and other audio content into automation system
- Editing audio for on-air use
- Helping program director (PD) and assistant PD with office tasks, as requested
Education:
- College Student – Preferably majoring in Mass Communications, Broadcasting, Engineering, etc
- Excellent people skills and a positive, cooperative manner when dealing with staff and public
- Some proficiency with audio editing and radio automation software
- Strong creative thinker with analytical and problem solving skills.
