Production Packer - Full-time / Part-time

Production Packer

• Organize and manage raw material and work to convert into finished goods per product specifications and QA/PC protocols and under direction of Production Manager. 
• Maintain all inventory documentation
• Organize raw goods for maximum efficiency
• Support plant management with assorted duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess approximately at least some production experience preferably in a food related business handling materials
• Production experience and an understanding of documentation. Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Experience using fork lift, pallet jacks and other necessary production/warehouse equipment
• Must be physically able to lift boxes and materials of up to 70lbs. and be able to stand for prolonged periods. Must also be able to operate some light machinery and understand machine processes as trained by supervisors.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with production management to run product to specific specifications per production schedule.
• Prepare production records as directed.
• Feed materials into lines and collect finished goods as need.
• Keep cheese room clean, neat and safe.
• Alert management of any issues with production, machines or other items that prevent maximum efficiency.
• Adhered to all safety and training protocols.
• Needs to be attentive to every cheese pack weights and seals.

CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Candidate must be skilled in inventory management and of general warehousing functions.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Organized, prompt and a self-starter
