What you will do:

The Sr. Cloud Engineer/Sr. System Administrator will implement and manage new highly available, fault tolerant Enterprise Architectures.  All solutions will utilize a “cloud only” approach where it makes sense and be as out of the box as possible.  This position is the primary owner and administrator of the Office 365, Intune, Azure, and Directory as a Service (DaaS) platforms as well as being the primary system administrator for any IaaS Operating System Environments (OSEs).

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the DaaS environment for IAM control including the use of SAML for SSO
  • Manage the Office 365 environment
  • Manage and build all Azure-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments including Azure ACLs
  • Utilize Microsoft Intune, Microsoft EMS, and other platforms to manage the configuration of all corporate endpoints
  • Match systems and IT offerings with Enterprise priorities to ensure alignment to SLAs
  • Ensure tight coordination with InfoSec Manager and Desktop Engineering for all new devices/systems in the Enterprise
  • Provide strategic thinking around new cloud technologies
  • Proactive monitoring and break/fix responsibility for cloud platforms and IaaS OSEs
Requirements

What you need:

Experience:

  • 5 years of professional System Administration experience in a multi-unit business
  • 3 years of Managing Office 365 environments
  • Experience working with Azure environments
  • Experience with the PCI-DSS (E2EE)
  • Experience with PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience across the Microsoft technology portfolio
  • Previous experience managing endpoints with SCCM is desired

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline strongly preferred
  • MCSE or similar technical certification highly preferred

Competencies:

  • Must have deep knowledge of computer-based technology across Infrastructure
  • Creative in technical solutions and possesses strong problem-solving skills
  • Independently synthesize business requirements, IT service strategy, industry frameworks, and compliance frameworks to create excellent solutions under limited direction
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to educate and inform user groups
  • Evangelize solutions within the company to champion adoption
  • Analytical skills to identify trends and dig into root cause of problems
