Data entry staff needed for physical inspection, package processing and data entry near JFK airport (Springfield Gardens, NY)
*** This is a physical, fast-paced position IN A WAREHOUSE that requires the ability to engage in continual and frequent lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 10 – 35 pounds each and may weigh more at times. ***
Main Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Hourly pay: $11.00
Shifts available:
Mon – Sat (with one day off during the week) 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Mon – Fri 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Use of a tape gun to tape packages
- Use of a box cutter to open packages
- Inspect goods for unacceptable contents
- Learn destinations, country and airport abbreviations
- Receive and check all inbound shipments
- Scan inbound shipments
- Weigh inbound shipments
- Heavy data entry
- Ensure documentation for shipments are accurate
- Interact with customers as needed
- Must have the ability to type at least 30 words per minute and know the layout of a computer keyboard, including numeric pad
- Ability to be a collaborative, team player
- Ability to stand, lift, bend and move for majority of the day
Hourly pay: $11.00
Shifts available:
