Inventory Control Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is currently seeking a talented Floor/Parts Analyst with excellent analysis skills to work at Nissan in Decherd, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of related supply chain experience working with suppliers and the manufacturing floor to ensure right part is shipped at the right time and an AA degree or higher.  This position has direct hire potential. This is a great opportunity to advance your career with a leader in the automotive industry!   **Please note this position is Monday - Thursday from 7:00pm to 5:30am** In this long-term contract role you will: Setting up expedites when necessary for parts or shipments to vehicle plants. Ensure proper volumes are scheduled for shipping. Contributes to crises management and proactive decision making Review ASN’s to ensure that suppliers are current to their delivery plan Daily interface with domestic and foreign suppliers to resolve any question about orders or problems with capacity/delivery from supplier. Responsible to handle capacity issues directly with suppliers as well as delivery issues that result from crisis situations i.e. natural disasters. Works closely with Engineering, Managers, Operations Floor and Shipping Minimum qualifications and requirements: Previous Supply Chain, Inventory Control in a manufacturing environment required. Purchasing, Procurement experience will be considered. Proven ability to make decision on your own  Previous experience with capacity, planning, or scheduling concepts Advanced analytical skills (must be able to make decisions based off data) Persuasive and persistent individual with demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to make hard decisions and communicate to upper management Proficient with MS Office Suite; basic level Word and Access; Advanced level Excel (V-Lookups and Pivot tables) a must! Must be able to work Monday - Thursday, 7:00pm - 5:30am shift. H.S. Diploma/GED required plus 2 years experience.
