Warehouse Inventory Corrdinator - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator immediately for a long-term full-time opportunity with a top petro-chemical client in the Channahon, IL. The position will be working with the Central Receiving/Parts Distribution Warehouse. This position consists of several different roles and responsibilities related to maintaining inventory of stocked items in warehouse and issuance of part/items to in-house employees. Duties: Physically receive incoming deliveries. Check Invoice versus PO quantity and resolve all discrepancies. Determine who requisitioned by shipping label and / or packing slips. Research all packages and deliveries when purchase order number or requisitioned is unknown. Generate stock received reports for restocking and filing purposes. Check for outstanding purchase orders using MSMS. Contact vendors regarding late shipments and errors. Conduct daily or weekly physical inventory counts and verify quantities to maintain proper stock levels, Document and adjust discrepancies using MSMS. Prepare purchase order requisitions for items stocked in the warehouse at stock reorder points. Physically restock shelves and bins with items that are for stock in the warehouse from receipt distribution reports. Fill orders from electronically generated stock issue tickets, walk-in requests and phone orders. Train walk-in employees with the proper use of the bar code system or filling out stock take sheets. File paperwork and retain for 13 months. Manually enter data from stock take sheets, and/or download information stored in the bar code scanner into inventory system. Troubleshoot problems associated with incorrect quantities or entries. Interface with purchasing to resolve purchase order issues. Apply for new vendors to be added to the vendor list when required. Pick up and distribute mail to employees. Arrange for broken parts and tools to be sent to vendor for repair. Schedule vendor visits when requested or needed Add parts and material to warehouse by identifying parts, searching through an electronic catalog to obtain the item code number, assign a shelf and bin location, and generate an MSMS bar code label. Interface with purchasing to add items to established vender contracts. Adheres and is accountable to safe work practices and follows the Plant Safety Policies. Meet behavioral expectations in the areas of environmental, health, and safety, with an emphasis on an injury free career. Interface with plant employees to determine what parts and supplies are needed to maintain their responsibilities. Work with employees for adjustments or removal of parts in the warehouse. Package and distribute items to employees at various in house locations. Assist walk-in employees with finding items and parts within the warehouse.
