Job DescriptionKelly Services is searching for Shipping/Receiving candidates for our customer in Milford, OH. Pay for this position will be up to $13/hr. Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm.Shipping * Ship hazardous and non-hazardous material in and out of the United States by using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS.com shipping. * Finish shipment forms in database to get packing slips, commercial invoices, and enter tracking numbers. Work with the customer service team and chemists/technicians, who submit the order, to ship in a reasonable time, taking all shipping and storage rules for the material into consideration. * Label and package material correctly by studying Safety Data Sheets and DOT/IATA regulations. * Complete Hazmat training for DOT and IATA every two years and RCRA Waste management training annually. Receiving * Receive materials. Log recipient and shipper. Deliver shipments to labs or offices. * Ensure all incoming chemicals have a Safety Data Sheet on file and help manage the online Safety Datasheet System (SDS). Scan and upload all SDS sheets that are not currently in the system. Inventory * Barcode and log incoming chemicals into inventory system. * Assist with annual inventory scan. * Update inventory system as new chemicals are procured. * Update new employees into inventory database. Material Handling * Move drums around facility as needed. * Work with EH&S team on hazardous waste management shipments. * Help order lab supplies as they are depleted. (Ex. gallon cans, pipettes, paper towels, toiletries, etc.). Stock lab and facility supplies. Requirements: Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Excel, etc. Past IATA and/or DOT training preferred. Ability to move, pick up and lift over 50 lb. pails and bags as well as move 500 lb. drums around building with drum cart.If you are interested in this position, respond to this posting.
