Job DescriptionParticipate in the production of various products including pizza crusts, breadsticks, cookies and scones. Responsibilities include sub-assembly operations covering pizza crusts, breadsticks, salad kits and other similar products. Duties include but are not limited to operating machines such as mixers, dividers, extruders, presses, wrappers, case erectors, tape machines, L-clip sealers, cheese topping and code dating equipment. Duties also include inspecting, sorting, weight checking, packaging, palletizing and paperwork documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies and procedures. Includes policies related to food safety and quality.Essential Functions:1. Adhere to all company safety and quality standards and procedures including those identified from GMP, FDA, OSHA, AIB and BRC.2. Complete all required AIB food safety and quality modules annually or within 15 months from hire date.3. Accurately record and complete all production, quality and HACCP paperwork requirements in specified areas that include process temperatures, times, settings, changes, code dates, material and ingredient specifications and lot codes.4. Monitor product quality according to product specifications through visual inspection, physical measurements, physical counts and weight control checks. Inform supervisor of problems and see guidance when necessary.5. Understand the importance of product temperature as it relates to product quality and food safety.6. Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, extruders, presses, wrappers, case erectors, tape machines, L-clip sealers, cheese topping and code dating equipment.7. Keep work area clean and organized at all times. Clean up trip hazards and spills immediately.Working Conditions: Works in a fast-pace manufacturing temperatures with encompassing warm and cold temperaturesShifts and Pay:1st shift 6am -2pm $9, increases to $10 after 30 days and increases to $11 after 60 days with good attendance and production.2nd shift 2pm -10pm $113rd shift 10pm -6am $10, increases to $11 after 30 days with good attendance and production.#quick_detroitRequirements Demonstrated ability to pass reading and math assessments Able to pass all safety tests within 12 months of hire Demonstrated ability to lift, push or pull object of medium to heavy weight (25 pounds) Evidence of ability to follow directions with attention to detail and accuracy Previous experience or demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced production environment on multiple product lines and equipment Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
