Direct Hire CNC Machinist

Job Description-Wants more tenured candidate (5 years experience)-Must read blueprints, machine experience, must know codingCandidate must provide some tooling (hopefully getting the list (seemed to be basic tooling)Candidate must have great attention to detail, on-time, communication skills are key, honesty, client said efficiency will come with the job.Training: 2-4 weeks, (side by side training)GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform basic machining such as drilling, tapping, light duty turning, milling, broaching, etc.- Understand the basics of machining and machining principles.- Identify and choose correct materials and tooling.- Read and interpret blueprints with geometric symbols.- Follow production schedules using XA Production Worklist.- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Lead - Machine Shop.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: One year beyond high school with emphasis on Machine Tool Technology and/or Machine Shop. Demonstrated skills in shop math and blueprint reading.Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Job Shop Machinist or Manufacturing Machinist.Skills Required: Team orientation; communication skills, written and verbal; Blueprint knowledge and reading ability; computer systems operation skills; process knowledge of machining and machining principles; competency with hand tools, measuring devices and testing equipment; problem solving ability; inspection ability; good time management; and ability to work in a team with minimal supervision.Requirements5 years of previous experience in CNC HighlightsDIRECT HIRE Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
