Job DescriptionOur Client based in Shelbyville Kentucky is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Technician $21.80 per hour 2nd shift 3 pm- 11:30 pm this is a temp to Hire positionThis position is requiring good hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Experience in an automotive manufacturing facility is preferred. High School or GED Equivalent is required 1-2 years Maintenance Experience requiredTo Apply! Or, call us at 502-633-3483 to speak with one of our recruiters!RequirementsEssential Functions: Under general supervision, repairs and maintains buildings, machinery, and electrical and mechanical equipment. Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers- specifications using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture to parts to detect imperfections. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts. Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Analyzes cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and implements preventative and corrective maintenance. Uses safe working practices and performs work as efficiently as possible.
