Job DescriptionPosition Summary: 1. Research and resolve all inventory related issues and maintain the integrity of the inventory.2. Set up and process cycle counts. Research & resolve inventory variances, enter inventory adjustments.3. Set up and maintain special monthly counts for regulated products and report results to management.4. Monitor receiving/putaway functions. . Alert receiving when product remains in pending putaway beyond procedure requirements.5. Monitor & maintain quarantine inventory. Process new quarantine notifications moving stock physically and systematically to quarantine. Respond to all quality department inquiries. Process quarantine resolutions such as disposals or returns to vendor. Monitor system reports and take appropriate actions.6. Process all inventory movements and adjustments. Review system adjustment reports to ensure accuracy of transactions made; correct any errors founds.7. Assist the shipping department with the resolution of stock not found during order picking. Research and resolve and/or adjust inventory discrepancies.8. Monitor inventory for product that is expired or beyond retest date. Where applicable, move stock to expired inventory staging area for disposition. Once approved for disposal, record transactions and work with outside Disposal Company to have the material removed. Adjust any incorrect expiration/retest dating in the system.9. Set up & monitor bins. Review daily inventory report for bin errors and adjust accordingly.10. Monitor inventory for proper storage based on chemical type. Consolidate inventory as needed to improve shelf utilization.11. Monitor and process all requests for stock checks from buyers, quality, etc.12. Lead preparation & execution of the annual physical inventory.
