Material Handler

Every day, Kelly Services connects people with opportunities to advance their careers.  We currently have exciting long-term contract opportunities for Material Handlers at one of our top clients in Lowville, NY.    CMF Line (Materials Handler) PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible to efficiently operate, monitor and perform functions associated with the Cow Milk Fat Line.  May work with palletizers, conveyors, pallets and skids and be responsible for period work. May also be assigned other CMF duties by supervisor.  Team participation is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands associated with this position will vary depending on specific job assignments. Standing will be required as will walking, kneeling and crouching.  Must be able to lift repetitively, 50 lbs all day long.  Some positions may require walking, carrying or pulling of other amounts of weight.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS   ·         GMP’s and Safety ·         Operate all machines to include Start up, Running, Shut down and Changeover ·         Identify components of all machines ·         Locate all Start/STOP, LOTO switches and E stops on all machines ·         Monitor Machines as they are running ·         Paperwork-tally sheets, charts ·         Unwrapping & unpackaging of companies product ·         Discard and removal of cardboard packaging ·         Removal and discarding of plastic wrap ·         Sanitation of area at end of shift ******Must have a HS Diploma or GED Pay Rate:  $11.50/hr Hours: 1st shift: 7am - 3pm 2nd shift:  3pm- 11pm 3rd shift:  11pm- 7am In addition to working with the world’s most recognized and trusted name in staffing, Kelly employees can expect: Competitive pay Paid holidays Year-end bonus program Portable 401(k) plans Recognition and incentive programs Access to continuing education via the Kelly Learning Center     Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
