Forklift Operator/Material Handler - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is currently searching for several Forklift Operators/Material Handlers in Santa Teresa, NM.  You will be working for a top Automotive company paying $9.50/hour.  This direct hire opportunity offers full benefits, including Medical, Dental & Vision, 401k, annual performance reviews, paid holidays as well as vacation and personal days. Position Information JOB TITLE: Forklift Operator/Material Handler LOCATION: Santa Teresa, NM LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Long Term Contract (Indefinite)  PAY RATE: $9.50/hour SHIFT HOURS:  8:00am – 4:30pm                            3:00pm – 11:30pm WORK SCHEDULE:  Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays)   Job Responsibilities Utilizing a variety of material handling equipment including forklift trucks, pallet jacks or hand trucks, shrink wrap equipment, and other equipment to load and unload trailers Moving material to storage/staging area and ensuring proper placement in appropriate location Breaking down material to meet distribution requirements Audit material as required (individual loads or shipments, periodic cycle counting, etc.) Maintaining work area clean and assist others in keeping work areas clean Performing forklift checklist and maintains fuel tank/battery readiness for forklifts Performing checklist for trailers Complying with Internal Control and Current Quality Norms Complying with company, client, and governmental policies and regulations Complying with company safety procedures/rules and OSHA rules Maintaining computerized material records   Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of experience using a forklift and pallet jack  Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, 50 pounds with assistance  Please contact Robyn Stockhorst at 636-528-8986 or send resume to ROBS341@kellyservices.com for immediate consideration.
