Chemical Operator

Job DescriptionKelly Services has several immediate openings for experienced Production/Machine Operators in Huntsville/Madison area. Experienced Production Operators needed for a leading chemical company in Huntsville/Madison Alabama with more than 2 yrs solid experience in Manufacturing, Assembly or Production. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Experience with adding specified amounts of raw materials into vessels or blending tanks; setting valves to feed liquid and solid materials through equipment units.- Must be able to operate machines of medium to high complexity and demonstrate the ability to handle multi-task assignments in a fast paced environment without error. - Ability to control equipment units or manual systems that process raw materials according to work instructions, knowledge of operating procedures, chemical reactions, laboratory test results, and correlation of process instrumentation.- Operating all processes and material handling duties in a manner that results in high quality finished goods. - Must have the ability to reach all work areas in the plant (i.e. climb ladders, handle heights to 50 feet).- Operators must be respirator fit tested.- Ability to lift or move up to 50lb. objects such as hoses and drums as needed.Must pass drug, physical and testing to move through hiring process. SHIFT INFORMATION:· 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend off. Overtime required. REQUIRED SKILLS:· 2 or more years of Production/Manufacturing Team Lead or Chemical Operator experience required.
