JOB SUMMARY:

The Entry Ticket Scanner is a part of the Product Sales & Services/ Scanning Department and is responsible for, but not limited to, working at assigned lift, accurately and efficiently processing lift access products, fielding guest issues, maintaining our scan gun fleet, following proper safety protocols and working with other base area operations. This position is primarily outside. We are looking for guest service oriented individuals who are positive, outgoing, operate with a high level of computer proficiency, have a passion for the outdoors, are well disciplined, and take pride in their work.

 

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately, efficiently, and independently process lift access products while capturing guest data
  • Effectively demonstrates the ability to learn, understand and communicate well with the guest about multiple product types and can easily adapt to changing pricing and product offerings.
  • Make suitable recommendations on products to meet the guests’ needs and the business objectives.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of customer interaction while delivering exceptional service; internal & external
  • Creating a fun and professional work experience while communicating in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Resolve guest relation and/or product issues in an expedient manner.
  • Perform daily opening and closing duties.
  • Must be able to interact with guest and work on a handheld computer at the same time
  • Follow company/department policies and procedures
  • Participate in resort and departmental trainings and development courses.
  • Responsible to perform duties which facilitate operations and maintain cleanliness and safety of work area while paying attention to detail
  • Work with Guest Services Manager, Assistant Manager, and PSS/ Scan Leads to facilitate line issues.
  • Perform other duties as required

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Prior Guest Services experience Preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Work on a computer with a high degree of accuracy and efficient speed.
  • Ability to quickly learn, make decisive decisions, and follow all auditing requirements.
  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Minimum 30hr/ week
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available to work other base area operations
  • Must be able to withstand 6 or more hours of intermittent standing or walking in an 8-hour workday
  • Must be able to handle exposure to inclement weather; bending, lifting and squatting
  • Scan: Able to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Scan: Able to walk uphill at a moderate pace
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays Required
  • Minimum availability of 3 shifts/week, with a minimum of 1 mandatory “hot shift” availability Required
  • Minimum availability of at least three holiday periods Required
