Retail Sales Associate - Full-time / Part-time

The Outlet Consultative Sales Associate is responsible for providing positive front-line contact with the customer.  This position determines and meets customers' needs, and provides customer assistance and support while selling merchandise and Protection Agreements.  The Outlet Consultative Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring that the customer's shopping experience is positive and assists in achieving store sales, Protection Agreement and Credit goals.  The Outlet Consultative Sales Associate is expected to follow the official Sears selling process (Creating Customer Enthusiasm) and abide by the Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices with the highest level of integrity.

• Provides consultative selling and service to customers, interacts with customers to determine and meet customer needs, provides assistance and support, and ensures a positive shopping experience, including ringing of sales through the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Protects Company assets by following Sears' policy for the handling of sales detail, processing and sorting
• Maintains the sales floor standards, including floor recovery, housekeeping and presentation standards in the unit
• Maintains a working knowledge of product lines by regularly viewing product manuals and training
• Ensures that selling processes are followed and sales performance standards are met (i.e., Credit "May I" program and Protection Agreements )
• Optimizes credit and other miscellaneous income opportunities, and ensures performance standards are met within the department
• Demonstrates asset protection awareness
• Performs other duties as assigned
