About this job

* Supervises all Hotel General Cashiers, Cashier Casino Services I, II, III and Pit Clerks during their assigned shift.

* Assures that assigned section is adequately staffed, cash/coin impressment levels are maintained and that superior customer service is provided at all times.

* Maintains compliance with Casino Control Commission regulations, Internal Control Submissions and ensures that department policies and procedures are followed at all times.

* Interacts with customers and employees during their assigned shift to assure that the team is always pleasant while being efficient and effective.

* Responsible for the timely implementation of all procedural changes.

* Assists Hotel General Cashiers, Cashier Casino Services I, II, III and Pit Clerks in the performance of their duties.

* Ensures that all bank openings/closings on their assigned shift are performed accurately, expeditiously and smoothly.

* Responsible for accurate preparation of counter checks drawn against patron's credit line in compliance with NJAC 19:45-1.25, for the issuance of chips at the gaming table.

* Recommends remedial training for cashiers and clerks in both customer service and technical areas.

* Prepares and issues disciplinary action fairly, consistently and timely.

* Prepares evaluations of cashiers and ensures timely issuance.

* Completes special assignments as required.

* Participates in the supervision, operation and/or support of Caesars multi-casino Bad Beat system.

Qualifications:

* Minimum two (2) years experience in a Cage and/or Coin Department.

* Complete knowledge of Cage and Coin operations.

* Good knowledge of State Gaming Regulations.

* Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Key Employee License.
