About this job

Position is responsible to provide sourcing and selection support to a geographic area of stores.

Responsible for serving as the Recruiter supporting sourcing, selection and candidate care of hourly associates within Retail. The positions in scope include cashiers, backroom, office, consultative sales (Sears only) and automotive positions (Sears only). This position's primary objective is to participate and proactively manage the process to source quality employees as quickly and economically as possible, in anticipation of needs.

-Develops and maintains professional relationships with external sources to generate applicant flow including learning institutions, government agencies, independent organizations including nonprofit agencies, and other employment sources.
-Seeks out and maintains partnerships with pipeline applicant sourcing organizations
-Utilizes recruiting tools and employs talent acquisition strategies to source external candidates by conducting on-site recruiting events, holding job fairs, and shopping the competition to find potential talent.
-Partners with Store Manager, Market Leader, Market Softlines, Market Hardlines, Market Operations, and Market HR Manager to proactively develop a creative and cost effective sourcing, marketing and recruitment strategy for each individual store to achieve required staffing levels and tracks their progress against each to determine effectiveness.
-Monitors, analyzes and directs the employment process, including recruitment, interviewing, skills testing and referencing processes, to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the candidate experience.
-Conducts pre screen interviews and other activities within the employment process.
-Partners with the Store and Market teams to source internal candidates through the use of Career Days events and associate referral program if applicable.
-Furthers organizational diversity and maintains and monitors Equal Employment and Affirmative Action compliance (Sears only).
-Schedules and attends job and career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate applicants.
-Analyzes automated weekly employment activity reports.
-Obtains and designs marketing materials to promote organization as employer of choice
-Evaluates longer term source effectiveness.
-Decides on process improvements within the recruitment and employment process flow.

Job Requirements:
-Skill in successfully delivering on goals for both high volume hourly sourcing and selection and professional salaried sourcing and selection
-Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Ability to interpret data relevant to primary objectives
-Ability to solve simple to moderately complex practical problems
-Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
-Ability to leverage technology & social media
-Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems and Human Resources Information Systems.
-Ability to consult with leadership in the organization

Preferred Skills:
-Bachelor's Degree
-Area of specialty in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or similar discipline
