The Lead Cashier is responsible for generating sales by establishing professional and personalized rapport with guests and delivering a world-class guest experience. The Lead Cashier will assist the management team with supervising and directing the cashier staff as well as assist with product presentation and generating sales. Cashiers are responsible for accurately and efficiently processing store sales through the point of sale system while providing a world-class guest experience.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Follow all company standards in regards to paperwork, cash management, and loss prevention
• Ensure an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service at all times
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Answer store phones courteously and professionally
• Assist in the training of new cahiers
• Maintain proper merchandizing standards for assigned department

Job Requirements:

• Previous retail cashier and customer service experience
• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent guest service
• Attention to detail 
• Basic computer skills 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
