About this job

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Calculates, prepares and reviews vendor commission payments.
• Reconciles various general ledger and bank accounts.
• Processes new vendor set up information in various systems.
• Imports broker commission payment information.
• Reviews field office month end submission reports.
• Communicates to the field offices information to correct errors.
• Reviews, adjusts, and mails monthly customer statements.
• Reviews and responds to various requests from the field offices and other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Some College preferred.
• 2 years prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and numerical ability.
• Ability to function well under pressure and take full ownership of tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, on multiple tasks, and schedule time in a deadline driven environment.
• Computer literate, with strong Excel skills.
• Flexible, enthusiastic, trustworthy, organized, self- disciplined and enjoys working in a team environment.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
