Job DescriptionAbout the Ashburn Store: Our store anchors the Belmont Chase Shopping Center, conveniently located in the heart of Loudoun County, Virginia and has been embraced by the surrounding community since the store opened in July 2015! Team Members enjoy interacting with the store's supportive Leadership Team, which lends to an upbeat and team-centered work environment with opportunities for career growth. The Ashburn store is well-known for its participation in a variety of community and charitable programs. Come work at the only Whole Foods Market location in Loudoun County! We are hiring Part-Time Team Members to work in the store areas listed below. Team Members work a variety of shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Closing), including Saturday and/or Sunday. Front End/Customer Service Team Members include cashiers, cashier assistants, customer service desk etc. Produce Team Members cut and prepare fruits, vegetables, dips spreads. Fruit/Vegetable cutting and knife handling experience is helpful. Meat and Seafood Team Members prepare and handle beef, pork, chicken, and turkey products, as well as fish, shellfish, and create oven-ready entrees in house. Specialty Team Members prepare and merchandise our cheese, charcuterie, and create coffee and juice drinks at the store's full-service coffee bar. Grocery Team Members stock and merchandise dry goods, bulk, dairy, pet food, household cleaning products. Prepared Foods Team Members include prep cooks, line cooks, and production team members supporting our hot bar, salad bar, pizza, tacos, sandwiches, catering. Whole Body Team Members merchandise personal care products, supplements & vitamins, herbal & homeopathic remedies, clothing Bakery Team Members include production team members, retail bakery team members, store bakers, cake decorators, and more! SUMMARY: Your role will be to provide customer service on the sales floor and handle special requests. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members. DUTIES: * Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the store looks great at all times. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delightful service. * Maximize sales potential through outstanding customer service including: greeting customers as they enter the store, circulating throughout the store and engaging customers, answering and researching customer questions, and escorting customers to products. * Provide information on how to obtain products not available at Whole Foods Market and that addresses specific customer needs. * Maintain reference materials for research. * Give customers store tours. * Assist disabled customers. * Offer samples to customers. * Greeting customers and providing exceptional, personalized service and educating customers about Whole Foods Market products. The concierge may partner with marketing to lead store tours and assist with various marketing and store promotional projects and holiday initiatives. * Maintain clean and sanitary operating environment including facing shelves, maintaining passive samples, and monitoring floor cleanliness. * Support regional and store vision and execute all regional directives and programs. * Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. * Respond promptly to customer needs and questions and requests assistance when necessary, including answering the store phone system. * This job posting is intended to describe the general requirements for the performance of this job.
