Employment Credit Representative




This position is with a great company in the Metro Center of Nashville!

*Shift is 8-5 or 7:30-4:30 pm and is Monday-Friday*


POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES



The job of the Employment Credit Representative is to provide specialized program support to the WOTC Department (Work Opportunity Tax Credit). This role will perform a wide range of administrative duties that are further outlined in the Essential Job Functions. The Employment Credit Representative will report directly to the VP of Employment Credit Operations. The Employment Credit Representative should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within their job role by offering overall compliance support to the WOTC Department. This position will be expected to maintain a high level of functionality in a deadline driven environment while maintaining professionalism and a commitment to department processes.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


Daily mail responsibilities, inclusive of opening, sorting and distributing all incoming mail with urgency



Must be able to review files and records to answer requests for information from employers and state WOTC units

Data entry as it relates to the department needs. Ability to create screens in the Management System as it relates to incoming mail forms that require updates to the current documentation.

Preparing Individual Characteristic Forms (ICF) for all incoming paper forms for paper filings, update pending lists, erase duplicates in the system, etc.

WOTC State Filing, via website or paper depending on the States requirements. All survey filing must be done in timely manner due to the time sensitive material we file.

Preparing WOTC Reports by using our WOTC locator to identify surveys in the system and sort by employer. These reports will be used for the Administrative Staff on a weekly basis to ensure we are in compliance with our daily work procedures.

Analyzing Department Spreadsheets as it relates to the State batch upload files. The process requires the Employment Credit Representative to place information from the surveys into the Department Spreadsheet for submission in specific formatting so that the file will upload effectively.

Preparation of Survey Forms in accordance with Department procedure.

Handling the navigation of information requests for additional documentation as it relates to the status of an open WOTC inquiry.



Timely Filing of all New Hire Surveys with the appropriate State Agency. The timeframe for these filings is no later than 28 days from when the New Hire completes the survey.

Requirements

 High School Diploma or Equivalent




 2 Year Associates Degree Required


 2 + Years working experience in an office setting is preferred
