Aerotek is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position in Newton, KS. Candidate will be responsible for performing preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and/or maintains structure of the plant in repair.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Open to candidates with various levels of experience
- Electrical Background with Voltage 480
- Prefer candidate to have an understanding of troubleshooting of PLC's. (not Required)
- Fabrication/Welding
- Prefer candidate with understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics (not mandatory)
- Must demonstrate problem solving skills to meet facility scrap and efficiency key measures.
- Must properly identify machine issues.
- Must maintain quality standards of all parts in machine cell.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills to report machine repair status and updates.
- Must maintain clean and efficient work area.
