Aerotek is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position in Newton, KS. Candidate will be responsible for performing preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and/or maintains structure of the plant in repair.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Open to candidates with various levels of experience
  • Electrical Background with Voltage 480
  • Prefer candidate to have an understanding of troubleshooting of PLC's. (not Required)
  • Fabrication/Welding
  • Prefer candidate with understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics (not mandatory)
  • Must demonstrate problem solving skills to meet facility scrap and efficiency key measures.
  • Must properly identify machine issues.
  • Must maintain quality standards of all parts in machine cell.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills to report machine repair status and updates.
  • Must maintain clean and efficient work area.
