Pharmacy Technician

Technicians review any and all request(s) (prior authorizations, step therapy, formulary exception) regarding a rejection on the retail pharmacy end.

Each candidate will review certain criteria and guidelines to either reject or approve the medication/prescription. They will review the request and look through previous materials, and also outreach out to the clinic regarding certain situations to obtain needed information. Very fast-paced work environment.

There are a lot of cases - each day is different with reviewing different situations. Some patients will receive customer calls regarding medications. Outreach is abundant, briefly discuss clinical information.

Must be registered with NM Stat Board and/or PTCB Certified
