Are you an Experience Software Engineer with experience integrating Hardware and Software for testing purposes? If so, I have a GREAT opportunity that is immediately available to work in a manufacturing environment for a consumer electronics company.

What would be great about this position is to be able to work on the floor within the manufacturing environment and help create custom coding for the testing of mechanical, electrical and electronic components.

In order to be successful in this Software Test Engineering position, the ideal candidate will be able to perform the following;design of manufacturing test equipment (software and analog). Create tester software based upon framework. Work with outside suppliers in the design/fabrication of the equipment. Oversee the qualification of this equipment (Gage studies, cycling, etc.). Document test systems (Schematics, BOM's).

This position's primary responsibility is the design of automated test equipment. Will write software that controls the hardware using C# which runs automated tests. If you have designed production/test fixture equipment that could work as well.

Will need to be able to write code and debug it. Will use a lot of PC based applications, and run on a .net framework.

Will be given a Test Specification from product development team of what needs to be tested on the product and it will be up to you to architect, design, develop, code and work with outside fabricators on making certain parts, then integrate and produce the end product of a test machine.

The qualifications of this positions include; 4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Computer Science), 5 years of analog or digital electrical design, 2 years experience in software (C++, C, C#, etc.). C# is mandatory. Additional experience with communication protocols (Ethernet, USB, RS-485) would be necessary along with understanding software/hardware integration.
