As the Pastry Chef at our newest restaurant, Gibson, you will utilize sustainable and locally grown ingredients to help create a unique culinary experience!

Work alongside award-winning Chef Robin Song at Gibson, our brand new live-fire driven restaurant! Located in close proximity to Union Square and connected to Hotel Bijou, Gibson's menu is driven by sustainability, the seasonality of Northern California, and our close relationships with small, local farmers. 

This beautiful, newly designed restaurant will feature a prominent bar with a robust cocktail and spirits program driven by ingredients from the kitchen. The brand new, state of the art kitchen boasts top of the line equipment and a live-fire grill and oven.

We are a technique-driven team that offers guests a high-touch, service-driven experience in an open kitchen environment. We are planning for a fermentation program, in-house bread program and whole animal butchery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years’ restaurant experience
  • Two years’ experience in a food preparation position
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
  • Food Handler Certification
