CNC

Oberlin, Ohio company has an immediate opening for a CNC machinist with manual machining experience.
$12.00/ Hour (includes shift differential) depending on experience
2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm 11:00 pm; Occasional Saturday 12:00pm-6:00pm
Will train on 1st shift: Monday Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Temp-to-Hire potential
Duties Include:
Operate CNC, manual mills and lathes
Measure and inspect parts
Able to make tool adjustments, changes inserts, and understand how to check dimensions
Able to read programs and set up machine with proper tools and holding devices
Able to assist others on checking parts and answer tool questions
CNC programming experience a plus
Requirements include:
Read, interpret technical drawings, blue prints and standards
Must have experience operating manual Bridgeport, manual lathes, CNC mills and turning centers
Knowledge of tooling capabilities and applications for both CNC and manual machining processes
Knowledge of manual machining techniques and applications
Knowledge and application of fixtures
CNC programming experience a plus
Knowledge of CNC programming languages
Strong math skills
Strong mechanical abilities
Strong communication abilities
Critical thinking abilities
Ability to monitor details of processes
Ability to monitor multiple machines at same time
Ability to produce parts within tolerances
2+ years experience in Manufacturing environment required
Prescreen testing
HS diploma/GED
