About this job
The nurse practitioner provides assessment and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interacts with patients providing counseling and routine procedures. Facilitates the practice's customer relations efforts, ensuring a high level of patient service. Works effectively as a team member. Maintains the patient's right to privacy and is kind, courteous, sympathetic, understanding, and professional with all patients and staff. Provides patient referrals and follows up on patient treatment.
License: Missouri State Board of Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner. ANCC Commission on Certification
Education: Missouri State Board of Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner ANCC Commission onCertification. Minimum of three years experience as an NP, preferably in a physician practice.
Must be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
