Pharmacy Technician

This is a first shift, 11am-8pm. It might be modified slightly in that they may work 10 hours Mon and Tue and work 4pm-8pm on Friday.

Job Responsibilities
* Assists the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing of medications and supplies.
* Arranges work activities so that the pharmaceutical needs of patients are met.
* Cleans equipment, and maintains all required temperature logs as per corporate Policy and Procedures.
* While completing fulfillment functions, checks medication and administration supply inventory for out-of-date products, removes products from inventory and works with the appropriate resource to record out-of-date products in the Expiring Medication log book.
* Assists with full inventory and cycle counts.
* Assists the inventory team with putting away newly received inventory in the appropriate location in the pharmacy
* Performs related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
* High School Diploma/GED
* Basic level PC skills
* Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel
* Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint
* Basic level skill in Microsoft Word
* Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
* Experience in entering data into databases such as Microsoft Access.
* Keyboarding skills basic level

Preferred Qualifications
* At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician filling medications.
* Pharmacy Technician License or Certification preferred unless required by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency.
