Aerotek is seeking qualified welders with mechanical skill in Knoxville, TN. Current available positions will pay between $15-$18/hr, depending upon experience. Day and night shift openings are available depending on company and location.

We promote internally and offer advancement at our local facility as well as nationwide. This is a 9 month contract to hire position through Aerotek in Knoxville. All candidates who complete the 9 month contract are eligible for immediate conversion and will qualify for our partner's benefits and pay advances. Pay:
Welders - $15-18/HR (Overtime is $22.50-27/HR)
Mechanic - $15-$18 (Overtime is $22.50-27/HR)
Shift:
1st shift: Mon. - Friday (7am-3:30pm)
Job Duties:
- Welding candidates will perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel 6G all positions.
- There will also be work in shop relating to mechanical work to install and troubleshoot issues.
- Candidate duties will vary depending on company and equipment present.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must have experience welding MIG or Flux Core. Ideally, candidates will have experience welding in a job shop environment on structural steel.
- Candidate must be able to provide verification of GED or High School Diploma, or highest level of education.
- Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug or background screen.
