Job Summary: The Bell Person will create a warm and welcoming environment to guests at the resort. This individual assists guests in checking in and out of the hotel with their transportation and belongings, while generally maintaining the appearance of the hotel lobby and entryway.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Greet guests, open car doors, open entry doors and carry luggage at property entrance.
  • Secure items too large for guest room in appropriate storage rooms.
  • Assist the Front Desk with answering phones, guest inquiries, checking guests in and out and other needs as business dictates.
  • Assist housekeeping staff as needed to deliver and pick up laundry, deliver towels, soap, or other items to rooms.
  • Direct traffic, maintain an extensive knowledge of the resort and all surrounding areas, give directions.
  • Shovel snow, clean, sweep, vacuum, dust common areas.
  • Complete basic maintenance requests in the units such as changing lightbulbs, batteries, resetting pilot lights, resetting wireless routers, etc.
  • Assist with inspection of units when needed.
  • Assist in parking cars. Serve as the back-up shuttle bus driver as needed; ransport guests in a safe and timely manner to and from requested Park City destinations.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous related experience. 
  • High level of comfort working with guests; able to display an outgoing and helpful tone.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours.
  • Flexible schedule to include: early mornings, late evenings, the occasional overnight shift, occasional split shift, weekends and holidays.
  • Clean driving record in order to qualify for Authorized Driver's Program.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, reach, carry, push, pull, and shovel on a daily basis.
  • Ability to carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate well in person, over the phone and over the radio.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate clearly in English
  • Must be 21 years or older and provide a current driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Report
