Busy Gordonsville area manufacturer is looking Production Assistants to join the team. These positions entail stacking, lifting and maneuvering material throughout the facility. ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE.
These are full-time (48 hour work week), temp-to-hire positions in 90 days. Pay starts at $12/hr. and upon hire-on, pay increases to $15.15/hr.
Advancement opportunities are plentiful for those willing to bring their positive attitude and outstanding work ethic with them to work! Additional pay increases beyond the hire-on increase are also available for those with more advanced skill sets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, raising or lowering an object from one level to another, including upward pulling
Ability to handle large pieces of material including holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands
Heavy or constant visual attention required when performing this job
Must be willing and able to wear required personal protective equipment while performing job as required by company
Must be able to walk about plant as job requires
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
