Forklift Operators

Automation Personnel Services has a client in Lancaster with openings for full-time Forklift Operators (Sit down/cherry picker) to work various shifts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the function of the warehouse by helping to move goods, supplies and materials from one place to another while adhering to strict government and company safety standards. They are also responsible for documenting orders and maintaining inventory levels, sometimes using RFID scanners or other mechanisms. In some instances, forklift operators will also act as order pickers, which requires them to wrap order pallets and load and unload orders and shipments for delivery. The ability to clearly communicate with others and follow instructions is also important, as forklift drivers regularly interact with other warehouse workers.

Requirements:
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
High degree of attention to detail
High School diploma or equivalent
Background and drug screen

Compensation: $12-$15.50 DOE
