Medical Billing Rep - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently hiring for the following!

1 Medicaid Biller
2 Managed Medicaid Billers
1 Commercial Biller

Also known as patient account rep, follow-up specialist!

Responsible for research on bills and claims, calling payers (insurance companies) and working with the billing/follow up staff on claims that are returned.

Corrects claims with errors

Works remittance advice ensuring accuracy of payments; changes account financial class as appropriate; corrects account balance in accordance with disposition; follows up on denied claims.

Updates system (notes and memos posted immediately) with appropriate changes; maintains quality control on all accounts for correct activity codes, result/action codes and payor and financial class updates

Performs payment/refund follow-up activities on patient accounts as assigned, through telephone contact or by means of online tools.
